THEY BURNED THE HAIR OFF OF MY 12 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER!! I’m a pretty reasonable person and I understand mistakes happen but admit your mistake. These fine folks let me pay for this horrific service and walk out of the salon without ever telling me that they burned my baby’s hair off in 3 different places. I didn’t discover that her hair was singed off until after we got home because the part of her hair that’s missing is underneath. I immediately called the salon and the stylist, “Byrd”, had the nerve to insinuate that someone else did it or maybe even me. No one else has touched my daughter’s hair and I don’t even use heat on her hair. The owner of the salon, Chaka Cotton, never reached out to apologize and she refused to give me a refund. Chaka did, however, offer treatments to help her hair grow back faster (as if I would let them touch her again) but when questioned about those services, Chaka and “Byrd” never even responded to my messages #ChakaShearBeauty #HazelCrest #GoodAndTerrible #GhettoSalon #HoodMentality #Unprofessional #SupportBlackBusinesses #JustNotThisOne

I got my hair braided & before the week was over it LOOKED like I'd HAD the braids in OVER A MONTH!!! I'M getting ready to leave town for a family reunion TOMORROW and I HAVE to get My hair DONE AGAIN!!! I called and told THEM about IT and the PERSON I SPOKE TO had a really BAD ATTITUDE!! I told THEM they JUST LOST a customer!! I WAS HAPPY WITH them UNTIL THIS experience!! P.S. VERY UPSET!!!

My stylist Angelic is great! If you need your hair done, I recommend you see her. If you're looking for a new stylist.
