I called this facility today and when I say all the woman could do was disconnect the line on me. I educated her on how to answer the line as a government official and how to display proper phone etiquette. I tried to give her knowledge on what it means to be a government official as well. I live out of state and I was calling to obtain the process on how someone with driving fines in there county who now lives in another state (Thank God!) can obtain their amount to pay or payment arrangement's. This woman was extremely rude and just flat out disrespectful. I ended up calling back and asking to speak with a supervisor. I was able to gain the information I was originally seeking but I doubt the employee was reprimanded. I swear Champaign, IL is the worst city in the U.S.A. Glad I do not live there anymore (shaking my head). Here is some advise DMV of Champaign county, please interview and hire employees who have more than a high school diploma or GED.

Giving them one star makes me feel really bad. They definitely deserve less. This is a sad and pathetic place. Grumpiness and rudeness is their common way to treat customers. I wonder if the state looks at customer reviews in Google or anywhere. They basically do not care. Good luck trying to find a web location to file a complaint against them. If this was a privately owned place, It would not have stayed in business for even a day. Their supervisor is especially arrogant and rude.

Worst DMV I have ever visited in my life. The staffs who are working on driver license section are totally stupid and nonsense. Don't understand anything. I don't know who gave them job. Please replace them immediately. I believe google rating is not going to make it better. They don’t care about it. If anyone can, please help me where I can report to make their service better.

(Documents needed for drivers license application listed at the end!) Took the written test here and the overall experience of my self is positive. However, there was an unfortunate Chinese girl who was so harshly questioned that she was at a loss, so one of the stuff asked me to be her translator. After talking with the other stuff who questioned her, I absolutely believed all those negative reviews. The lady who accepted my application even joked about me a bit, and she was very nice. But some other stuff I met around here, such as the woman mentioned above, and the cashiers were all jerks. It makes you wonder whether It's too pathetic for them to work here. Some other guy dealing with the plates was also very nice, so 40% of the people I met there are nice, and 60% are rude. Things you need for driver's license application as an international student, without a SSN: * I-20 * Passport * I-94 * One Address Proof (Bank statement, utility bills, lease, etc.) * 30 bucks

Quick service. Make sure you got all the details with you to get best out of these guys. A little hard to find the location, may be better sign and proper placement can help. If you are paying user credit or debit card, there is 2.3% of service charge. It is understandable that use of debit machine include some commission to service providers and govt runs on taxpayers money. Govt should negotiate with these companies to provide debit/credit services for free in all govt departments or manage a free ATM machine in their premises.
