I ordered and had six windows installed. The sales agent was nice and informative. I feel like I worked out a good deal with him. I asked for a Saturday install so I could be present, but apparently those are hard to get. I was very concerned about the install being done correctly, so I was able to get a trusty house-sitter to watch. The install crew they sent was amazing. The work was beautiful, and I came home from work right as they were finishing up. I received about half of what I needed to file for a rebate from Idaho Power. Champion sent me some of the needed items, but not the zero-balance invoice. I left a voicemail and told the person who called to ask about my experience that I needed it, but I did never get it. I think it's way too late for me to get my rebate now. Other than that, the windows look great, the install is solid, and I'm overall satisfied.

The Champion Windows sales and installation teams were very professional and courteous throughout the whole process, starting with getting the estimation, to the completed installation.  We had chosen Champion to install new windows several years ago and were so pleased with the employees and the quality of the windows (including the cost and replacement guarantee) we called them back to do the rest of the windows last summer.  The people were friendly, knowledgeable, and very professional.   I know we made the right choice by going with Champion.

Summary - 2.5 rating - good warranty, comparable product, rough sales process

We recently purchased seven windows from Champion because:

1) Warranty
2) Single source for all issues - product replacement, installation issues, etc.

The windows appeared to be comparable to other, less expensive windows. The main difference seems to be warranty and installation. My understanding is that the Champion warranty is superior to most others and that they stand behind their installation. I hope to never have to find out but if I do, I'll update this review.

The sales process is more than a little rough. The salesperson was very friendly and personable however, the structure of the consultation feels like a classic used-car scenario. To make your experience more enjoyable, I recommend:

1) Get quotes from other contractors FIRST - if you present a competitor's quote to the salesperson, they will provide a percentage off (we got 10%)

2) If you purchase during the visit, they will knock 5% off

3) The salesperson can call someone (in front of you) to further reduce the quote. You may have to agree to some amount of advertising/reviewing on their behalf (which seemed reasonable) - e.g. show the home from the outside, take photos after installation, etc.

Obviously, one would wish a company simply provided their best product at their best price at the outset. My experience involved Champion providing their best/only product at the highest price and allowing you to negotiate down. If there are additional mechanisms to further reduce the price, we are not aware of them. 

Again, no faults on the salesman nor on the product - just the structure of the consultation.

I replaced all my windows with champion windows.  The come with a lifetime warranty.  This fall i had my first issue with a broken windows due to a tree limb that fell from our tree.  I called Champion back in September to get it fixed and am still waiting for them to replace the broken window!  Windows are great but don't trust them on the quick fix if something goes wrong...  18 deg at my house and still waiting!  Merry Christmas

Called to get a window replacement estimate. The girl seemed nice, until I asked if they had windows in stock. We have a broken window, which means we would like it fixed ASAP not in 3-4 weeks. They do not carry windows on site, and when I said thanks, but I have to call someone else I got a "Ok whatever then" reply in a completely rude tone. Good to know they'll be nice when they want your business, but it's not sincere. Won't call this place again.
