My wife and I hired Chapas to load our moving trailer. They asked us to purchase blankets to cover some of our furniture, as well as latches to tie items down, and furniture wrap to secure the more fragile items. 

When the trailer arrived at its new destination, we noticed only half of the blankets we purchased were used and what’s worse is that many of the wooden pieces of furniture, our new bed, barstools, and desks, were NOT covered by blankets or wrapping and arrived scratched, dented, and chipped. 

I called the owner of Chapas, Raul, and sent pictures of my damaged furniture. He did not call me back, so I had to call him. He answered the phone sounding bothered to be talking to me and told me this: “Those scratches and dents in your furniture look like they were there before.” I told him it’s a brand new bed and was in perfect shape prior to being loaded, which I have proof of. He then said, “File a claim then.”

Worst customer service ever!! No sympathy for the fact that we did what he asked and purchased the necessary supplies for them to use and cover our furniture completely. A lot of what arrived has been damaged so I will most definitely be filing a claim and possibly pressing charges.

This company does not deserve to be in business. Taking advantage of people, not caring about the quality of work provided, and not showing any type of remorse for the horrible job they did, proves this. Do yourself a favor and do not hire these criminals.

Highly recommend Chapa moving service! Great customer service! Professional and efficient! Great communication and able to move what we needed!

These guys work great together.  Great teamwork.  I've hired them many times and every time they surpass my expectations!  If you want the best and most professional movers in the RGV, hire them!

I personally have heard friends say they've had bad experiences with them, but I've used them 3 times and thank God every time has been beyond phenomenal! Super courteous and take time to listen to my specific requests. I hope they take into consideration the bad reviews because they really are awesome and would hate to see them continue to lose customers
