Good selection, expert fitting, and you're not buying from a chain. If you run and live nearby, you want to buy your shoes from here.

Charles River Running is a lovely little running store. I went there for new running shoes and Jim not only helped me try four different shoes but also watched my walk to help me identify whether or not I should be looking for a more supportive shoe or less.

The whole experience was very enjoyable and they have lots of running accessories even including a treadmill if you want to try out a little jog in your new shoes before buying! Can't recommend Charles River Running more highly. :)

I've gone to Charles River several times and love it. Incredibly nice, helpful people with great running shoe and running apparel selection and service.
