My license renewal took 2 hours. They usually have ok customer service they have not tolerance for my toddler. Sorry she is 2. My car registration took over 3 hours. Keep in mind I arrive around 7:30 am to 8am I am always early. My husbands drivers test took forever. We were there from 7:30 am till after 11 ridiculous.

Wayyy to slow. There is no urgency whatsoever, they need to upgrade the technology being used. The numbers didn't even display when I went either. A simple in-state drivers license renewal takes over an hour and a half. On the plus side ... they have pens .. this is what happens when good people do nothing

It's the freaking DMV! I don't dread going and the folks are always reasonably pleasant to really nice. Make sure you bring all proofs of ID, address, taxes paid, and insurance if it's your first trip. Don't forget name change proofs like Court, divorce, or marriage documents.

Bureaucratic nightmare.  No knowledge of out of state leases, many obstacles/hoops to jump through only to have to go through it all over again with 4 different people.  On a "routine" trip that doesn't involve complex thinking, you might get through in under 2.5 hours, but get ready to stand in line. (Yes, you may get friendly people-60/40 prospect - but knowledgeable and friendly odds are bleak)
