I love living in Charlestown Apartments! The office staff are hospitable and helpful. They look for any and every way to make you feel appreciated such as leaving small gifts at your door for holidays, having Charlestown community events like movie night by the hammock garden and a pool party and cookout and being timely in responding to any request you have. One member of the office staff, Paris,  is planning a breakfast event next month. She has been so thoughtful while deciding the date because she wants even the residents that have finals to be able to enjoy it. The maintenance staff are courteous and make sure they respond to each maintenance request in a timely manner. They make sure they have fixed whatever the issue is and you’re happy with the results before leaving. They also do a wonderful job making sure Charlestown looks clean and well-kept. The apartment community has a pond in the back that is thriving with wildlife. There are beavers, turtles, and geese. They make sure the pond stays clean and remains a good environment for wildlife. Even without all of these bonuses, the apartments would still be amazing. They are spacious and clean. They spray for bugs each week. I love it here and I’m signing another lease in June! Such a great place to live!

I thought I loved my apartment until I found MOLD in my apartment. The inspector said that the mold started because of weather stripping. On the bottom of the porch door, there's something that is supposed to keep air and water out and it was broken. The inspector said it must've rained really hard and water came in. After meeting with him, the front office manager tried everything to convince me that I caused the mold. I have NEVER had mold before moving there and they didn't want to take responsibility for any part of it or reimburse me for any of my things. It was devastating how mold spread to so many of my personal items that I had to throw away but they didn't care.

I moved apartments in the complex, on a Saturday The apartment I moved into had a washer and dryer already in there. I spoke with the rep and explain to her the problem. She said no problem  and that she would have someone bring my washer and dryer down into my new apartment since I did not have any help after that day. I come home today to find my washer and dryer just sitting out by my front door not inside apartment like I was promised. It would be nice to stay true to your word.

Well, I hate these apartments. The first time we moved here the refrigerator was not working, we told the office ladies and it took them about 3 months to get us a new one. IT HAS HORRIBLE BUG PROBLEMS!! Bees find a hole in the window and some how get in, waterbugs are we common in the summer and roaches! Not including the time I saw a rat outside!! Also small insects that look like calipers are found in bathrooms time from time. I hate it here!! I would never recommend living here to anyone! When the lease is over so long bugtowne.  ***charlestowne

Besides insect problems the service is fast. Professional staff. Really close to campus. Overall nice place. I've lived here for two years
