My husband and I went to Charley G's for the first time for date night. We had a reservation and were seated immediately. The staff was so pleasant and informative, very professional. Charley G's is an extremely elegant and romantic restaurant. The only thing I had a personal challenge with was the menu. It is very elevated; I am not used to such an upscale menu. Every dish was unique and there were many things I had never heard of, like Drum fish, escargot, etc. The best thing we ate was the crabcake appetizer. It was amazing! I also enjoyed the macheaux and crawfish grits. My advice is to look at the menu online before going to get a better idea of whether or not it is for you. Personally, I'm glad that I went and will return again.
Great atmosphere! Good food! Lobster scampi very yummy! 5oz Filet w/ Crabmeat…good. Mini Crab Cakes…okay. Jack wine $22 a glass …but it was very delicious, so….‍ Lettuce on Caesar a little brown, but they removed it and took care of me! Avery was very nice and attentive, but not overbearing! They choose dessert for me, because I couldn’t decide. Must go back!

It’s a treat night for us. The atmosphere, service, and food are always over the top. I love the lighting and dark woods in the dining room and bar. Chet on the piano last night was excellent. This is a great place to have a date night! Big thanks to Alexis for the beautiful service—much appreciated! The piano was captured for a couple of songs by an 11-year-old—Jay Tyler. Decided to come on a Monday, where it is 1/2 off Ribeye, and it did not disappoint! We have not been here in awhile, but everything was awesome! We had the following: Tartare of Tuna - Seaweed Salad, Ginger Vinaigrette, Tobiko, Wonton Chips Pan-Seared Foie Gras - Blueberry Preserves, Pickled Vegetables, Fresh Fruit, Candied Walnuts & Wood-Grilled Bread Wood-Grilled Ōra King Salmon - Summer Succotash, Butternut Squash Puree, Toasted Almond & Arugula Salad, Charred Lemon Vinaigrette Aged Ribeye - ordered with Manchego Corn Grits & Risotto The Ora King Salmon was soooo perfect! We had gotten it cooked medium rare, and let me tell you, this is the best salmon I ever ate in my life! And as always, the aged ribeye was also very delicious! ****UPDATE**** Ribeyes are no longer half on Mondays, but at a discount. STILL WORTH IT! Winter Menu: Charley G’s Bechamel Crab Cakes - Seasonal Hash with Roasted Pecans, Herb Roasted Garlic Aioli Lobster Scampi - Sautéed Lobster Claw Meat, Wood Grilled Lobster, Linguine, Lemon, Garlic White Wine Cream Sauce, Tobiko Take a date here on Monday, you will not regret it! A sublime dining experience. From the decor to the wait staff to the gastronomic delights, everything was on point perfection. I ordered the ribeye steak medium rare with asparagus. I took one bite of my steak after cutting into it to check that it was cooked to my temperature. I had to stop myself and take a picture before I took another one so that you could see that it was perfectly cooked to order. The only reason I give this place 5 stars is because I cannot give it a higher grade.
A good ingredient to a wonderful evening. We sat at the bar and there was no lack of exceptional service. The pork belly lettuce wraps and duck gumbo are both fantastic.Food: 5/5
The food, service, and experience was absolutely phenomenal. We only mentioned once that it was our anniversary and the staff made sure to make us a beautiful desert with "happy anniversary" written in chocolate. We will be sure to return!Food: 5/5
Such a spectacular experience as always. My parents and I came for an early Mother’s Day dinner and it was wonderful. They opened the door for us when we first arrived, realizing that my mom is in her wheel chair. We had the duck gumbo with deviled egg along with the crab cakes as appetizers. The French 75 was made to perfection. For dinner my parents had the ribeye and the sea bass. I had the blue cheese salad with grilled shrimp and scallops. We ended our dinner with the strawberry creme Brulee. Everything was just decadent. I couldn’t ask for anything to be better. Hats off to chef Holly.

Amazing food. Outstanding service. Went to celebrate a birthday, let them know ahead of time and they gave us a birthday card personally signed by the staff. The experience at this place is definitely worth visiting over and over.
