Charlottes Web Restaurant - Casual Dining, Cocktails and Catering
Family owned, Charlotte’s Web is a Morris County landmark operated for over 35 years by Sal and Charlotte Monteleone along with Chef Carlos Munoz who has headed the kitchen since day one with his creative classic dishes.
The menu offerings are primarily “Eclectic Italian” and are influenced by the owners Sal & Charlotte’s Italian and Austrian backgrounds. The menu is further accented by Chef Carlos Argentinean heritage which is often reflected in the restaurants daily specials, truly creating a diverse taste at what has become a local Dover NJ favorite.
Chef Carlos always manages to surprise and please our customers on a regular basis with daily and seasonal specials along with classic favorites including his Country Style Chicken, made (with chicken on the bone, homemade sausage, mushrooms, peppers and potatoes), or Veal Saltimbocca, Shrimp Magnolia (Shrimp sautéed in olive oil with a Dijon sauce made of pureed red and yellow peppers, basil and homemade sweet potato fries) Venetian style Calves Liver with bacon and onions and then there is our savory Pork Chops with Vinegar Peppers even end of summer Fried Green Jersey Tomatoes.
Charlotte’s Austrian background and love of food becomes apparent in the kitchen. On a typical Sunday you will often find her in the kitchen preparing some of the restaurant’s favorite comfort food dinner selections. Try the Roast Pork with Champagne sauerkraut and homemade applesauce or perhaps the German Sauerbraten. One of the most popular dinner selections is Charlotte’s traditional Stuffed Roast Turkey with all the trimmings. Remember to leave room for Charlotte’s rice pudding or bread pudding and there is always Sal’s famous Tiramisu and Cannolis.
We also offer a light “Pub Menu” at our bar featuring innovative fare in smaller portions.
