This branch is awesome! If someone has given this branch a bad review it is only because they had an unreasonable expectation. This branch goes above and beyond any reasonable expectation. The branch manager and staff is personable, professional and take pride in their business. I would be happy to share my experiences with anyone who has questions about the branch. I do both business and personal banking at this branch and have personal accounts at other financial institutions. None of the other institutions can compare to the customer service at this branch.

BEWARE OF DOING A HOME LOAN. Since the bank staff and service was so wonderful, I thought of doing loans for two rental properties. Scott was the loan officer who did not communicate with me throughout the process. When applying for the loan, he told me we might be able to close a loan in 45 days, over the Christmas holiday, when an ex-Chase employee told me the average loan takes longer than one month to close. We are going on 2 1/2 months, and one of the two loans still did not close. Scott never notified that loan conditions were a requirement to close the loan. I only knew about them when I called to find out if we were going to close before the end of the year. As of today, I never received a conditions' report that I was told was mailed to me. My home did not appraise for the loan, which I notified Scott that this might happen when we applied for the loan. I told him we would be willing to take money from one house to put towards the other house, so it would appraise. Scott never told me the house did not appraise, and did something very unethical to me. I found this out when I got the final paperwork for closing. There were additional points amounting to $1,456 that were never disclosed to me. Scott wrote up the loan to take $2,000 from one of my homes to pay for the points on the other house. I was never given an option of how to make this loan work. I am very angry that he controlled my money, and made decisions without my permission. I called Tyson, his boss, to complain about him twice. I never received a return call from him. I contacted the branch manager, who was wonderful. She told me she has no control over the loan department. She also wrote Tyson to tell him I was unhappy with Scott. He never called me. I contacted Scott Lewis, the manager over Scott and Tyson, who was very apologetic. I told him I was upset about the $1,456 in points, because if we sold our rental in six months, we are out all of that money. It would take us a very long time to recoup that money. He tried to be helpful and offered me other loans that would have a higher interest rate. Unfortunately, he never did anything about reversing a portion of the undisclosed fees. He stated he did not want me to be forced to close on a loan I was not happy with. A former Chase loan officer employee told that Chase writes off money all of the time. I tried shopping around for a new loan because I did not want to close with Chase. Both of the companies stated they would try to write-off points to lower my loan costs. At this time, in February, interest rates went up quite a bit higher. I would have to pay more and it wasn't worth it. If I was notified, back in November when my home did not appraise, I could have gotten a new loan. Now closing comes. Our paper signing was scheduled for 9 a.m. at my house. The notary was never supplied with the correct closing documents because we had three people on one loan. She was unable to print the paperwork until 45 minutes later, only because Yami, Scott's assistant, called the title company to get the closing going. We ended up traveling 20 minutes from our house to sign papers so my husband could get it done and go to work. When I was signing papers, the title company called the notary and said they made a mistake and did not send all of the papers for the third person to sign. She was told to have the third person sign papers and they could be forwarded with our loan paperwork. The notary called and told me that one initial was missing, due to an error of her not catching it when we were there. I returned to the original place I signed earlier. One of my houses funded and there was only $1,300, instead of $2,000 that I signed papers for. Again, a mistake was made and the loan would only allow 20% of the loan, up to $2,000 to be taken from the loan at closing. Yami called me to tell us that we had to re-sign papers on Saturday or it would not close. We have to give up part of our Saturday to re-sign papers because they were done wrong. Do you want all of this hassle for a loan?
