This is an amazing hotel. It was new when we visited but they were well trained and organized. The Amelia suite was one of my best hotel bargains I've had ever. I'll be back! Louisiana Tour event here was incredible with Sports Hall of Fame and the water in walking distance. Great staff and management at hotel.

This is a beautiful hotel with a spacious room and comfortable bed. However, the same high ceilings that add to that sense of space made it difficult to get the bathroom comfortable for this hot shower lover. The modern walk-in rain shower did not have a door to keep in the warmth. Additionally, their iron left a white residue that only spread when I tried to sponge it off. Remember your ironing cloth if you need to touch up your wardrobe.

My boyfriend and I stayed here this past weekend for the car show. For almost $200 a night I guess I was expecting a lot more. The hotel is relatively new and corners were clearly cut in the construction. The walls are paper thin. You literally here every conversation in the rooms next to you and every step taken in the room above you. Sleeping in is impossible because when alarm clocks start going off in other rooms it's like it's right next to your bed. Speaking of beds-Hard. As.A. Rock. Breakfast is subpar at best. Paid extra for a balcony room only to have to sit out and listen to LOUD rap music coming from a club around the corner. I realize this is not at all the hotels fault, just be aware. I really wanted to love this hotel because the location is great and the hotel selection in the area is limited. And as mentioned in other reviews, parking is a nightmare if the hotel is busy. On a positive note-the outside sitting area around the fountain is very nice and every staff member we encounter were very friendly.

Rooms were nice. Beds were comfortable. The reason for the three stars is we had to book online to get the cheaper price because they would not match it at the hotel. And there is a $9.95 Resort free for their FREE and FREE parking and FREE WiFi. The breakfast consisted of scrambled eggs and grits, cereal, coffee, juice and pastries. No bacon no sausage. Overall there would be a good possibility I would find someplace else to stay next time here.

Hotel was nice. But not please I am not able to obtain four articles of clothing I left in the room.  I called the same day approximately 7 hours later. But, no one can find my clothes even though they say they have an excellent system to log articles left in the room. Its been approximately, 12 days and no clothes.
