Place is so adorable and the cutest old school dinner ever! The server was so sweet and she did great at checking in and making sure we were set. Drinks and food bomb. Wish I got dessert.I was just so fullll.cheap and great portions. The only thing I didnt like was the cinnamon rolls. When the menu say jumbo I expected a bun 4 people could split at least 2, and they tasted store bought.
Decided to come here for a late morning breakfast and the service and food is beyond words! Portions are great for when your really hungry. Pancake recipe is amazing and they're huge!! I've found a new away from home favorite.
Chronicles of the Wildman I ride around on my motorcycle and review diners. This will be my last review in New York as I'm moving away. I visited Chatterbox Diner on 25 May 2019. Up front note: this is a cash only establishment. It's a clean diner with friendly staff. There's a glass case with different types of coffee pots from different eras and ridiculously large novelty coffee mugs. I get a coffee and a small soda and a 3 meat omelet. The omelet is fantastic and was expertly constructed. Here's why I took a star away. They have a policy where you have 1 free refill of soda. This wouldn't be so bad if the small drink wasn't 6 ounces. Also, they only had milk for the coffee; no creamer or half and half. Over all, it was a good visit and I would recommend this diner.
I’m so glad there’s a such good place for me to go when i study in America. Everyone is so nice! Absolutely recommend! My newest tradition is go there every weekend!
Out visiting from California and felt like walking in a Time Capsule.. A little Hole in the Wall Diner, love this place, a down home Country feeling. Waitress was nice & friendly, just had Coffee and then had to try the Deep Fried Cheese Curd with "Boom Boom Sause" ... It was the Best Wish I could send it back home to Cali. The Customers were the Sweetest, made me feel special. Will be going back to eat a Full Meal before I go back to "WarmSunny SoCal...
I happily drive 20-30 mins just to get to this place. You cannot beat the breakfast and the prices. Very easy to walk right in and sit at the counter. The service is great and of course people like to stare if they don’t recognize you but that’s part of the small town charm! I highly recommend the cinnamon toast! It’s always amazing.
I ordered the Hungry Man's Breakfast with an extra side of hash. It was, in all senses, a classic diner experience! The staff were courteous and cheerful toward the customers as well as attentive. I hope they continue with these wonderful habits.
Great food with affordable prices. The only downside is that if you’re not a regular there, you will get stared at for the duration of your meal. We had an instance where we came in an hour before close and were not served. No one approached us to get our order or give us menus. After waiting for 15 minutes, we left.
I’ve been a lot of places and had a lot of omelettes. South Dakota, Alaska, New York, Idaho, lived in opposite ends of the US. I can 100% tell you Chatterbox has the absolute best breakfast food I have ever had, and it’s super cheap. I’m writing this sitting in a diner in Idaho, I still wish I could get a chatterbox breakfast today.
Visiting from Oregon & fell in love with this cute, quaint diner! Stopped in twice in the last week with plans to stop in again before I head home. The food is scrumptious & filling. The super star staff is fantastic....Sarah is fabulous! Thank you again for the wonderful food & friendly staff!
