My daughter always requests that we purchase her birthday cake from Chef Sugar. The first time I went in to do so, it was a week before her birthday, which is on Christmas Eve. Yes. I should’ve known to come in sooner ... But they were great and accommodated us — no extra charge. Yes, the prices are high, but we’ve never been disappointed in the quality. I also appreciate that they do gluten-free items. Sometimes my daughter and I stop in just for cupcakes and it’s nice to know I can get something too. 
The service has always been polite. Not overly friendly, but not rude.

Just bought a pumpkin sugar cookie and it was as hard as a rock. She said it was due to the icing. I've had several sugar cookies that are soft and delicious..... $3 for a single cookie! Asked for something different cause I wanted something soft and delicious and she said they were ALL the same. Was thinking of ordering a baby shower cake here but decided not to! Will not be back. Terrible product and over priced!

DO NOT GO HERE!!!  Be warned!!!  The prices are not clear at all and will stack up when you are trying to get a custom cake (our daughter's 1st birthday tear-up cake).  Was totally an unfriendly encounter meeting the bakers.  

I was trying to keep a good positive attitude with everything but it's so hard.  I didn't see the reviews on google and I wish I had. Every bad review I could understand where they come from.

EVERYONE is complaining about your customer service.  Please fix, it's your employees.  They don't work with a smile or want help anyone for that matter.  As for me, I will not be going back to your store and I will not be recommending anyone to your store...actually the opposite, telling them to avoid at all cost.

Customer service was horrible.It felt like we inconvenienced the baker when we walked in. We were looking in the case of cupcakes and she rudely asked are you guys ready yet? She didn't explain which were the best all she said was we have over 80 flavors. She seemed very snobbish throughout our visit. Noone else was there so it's not like she was overwhelmed or anything. The cupcakes were decent, the decor was pretty but definitely wasn't worth the price you pay. 4 small cupcakes were about $20.00.

I really enjoy the cupcakes though the service isn't always consistent. Today,  though, Kyanah was very kind and patient as I picked out a few cakes for Boss's day and I mistook the cake that I had originally wanted. It was a pleasant surprise to be met with a smile instead of the usual stoicism, and I'm glad that I still go to them for my cakes and occasional treat cupcake or creme brule.
