Sort of the crown jewel of Chester, this place is easy to spot. When driving through, I always stop in to get some hot food. It's always delicious and it's fairly priced. The fact that this is a grocery store too is icing on the cake.

Great small town store when you don't have time to get to the city.  Large selection, in a small space. Its very convenient being on 2. And boasts a Hot Stuff franchise as well. 

Gas and diesel are also available at this location.

Bought a 40 lb box of red delicious apples and got a pretty decent price on them because I bought volume and I recently went back 22 days later and bought a second 40 lb box of the same apples and they raised the price 31.5% in the 22 days from the time when I first bought the first box. I don't do business with people that do that kind of thing and they're not very competitive and a really high priced. You don't do that to me by raising your prices that much and their excuse was is that they were selling them to me for the on sale price which anybody could go in and buy one apple for at the same price that I received my second box for.  Sorry to say but they're help and the owners don't know anything about how to do business from what I see. 

I wouldn't recommend shopping there if you're looking at saving money because it's the highest priced store in the area.

I found cheaper places to buy my groceries and I've tried to work with these people to do business locally but it's just not happening with them. 

I didn't do business that way and I had to compete with it in state out of state and Canadian businesses that were larger company-owned than I was as a sole proprietor and I had to be competitive at a better price than they were and had to have a better quality product better customer service and everything that goes with that business to be successful. Very few businesses today understand what it takes to do that.

New owners, same great place. The prices are rather expensive but hey, it the law of supply and demand. Decent selection of groceries
