This police department, if you want to call it that is a disgrace. Most of the officers they choose to employ are young and still wet behind the ears...lol. A few of them are old as dirt and desperately need to retire..lol. It has been my experience that they simply lack knowledge of the laws they are sworn to enforce. This is not only bad for their reputation as a police department,but it also creates quite a burden for local courts who have to undo their legal mistakes. Don't get me wrong, I have the upmost respect for all police officers and the stresses they deal with daily. It can't be easy taking on a job when so many people have formed negative opinions against you. Through minor interactions over the years I have formed the opinion that this particular department located in Cheviot ohio is just about useless to the public and a clear example of tax payer waste. In my opinion the City of Cincinnati would be better served closing this rinky dink excuse of a station.The fine men and women of the Hamilton county sheriff's department are more than capable of providing the additional patrols needed in Cheviot ohio.These deputies are far more superior in regards to their training and law enforcement expertise. This would not only reduce operating cost for the city, but would undoubtedly save tax payers thousands of dollars annually as well.
