The lake was beautiful, swimming area was very nice, camp area was nice and quiet plenty of room for 2 tents at most sites. They don't have many power and water spots but I'm good with that cause my family tent camps. There were some nice trails and the sraff seemed nice. The only drawback is there's only one bathroom for the whole camp area, and it could have been cleaner and my wife said out of the 3 ladies stalls there was no tp in any of em. All and all great place and will return

Chewalla lake and recreation is a great place to camp. The bathrooms are clean. The people are nice And It has an abundance of well kept trails with convenient maps to help you find your way through the Hollysprings national forest. I give it 5 stars easy!

Great camp sites and clean bathrooms. I just returned from Glacier National and Yellowstone, so maybe it's unfair to just give four stars but the surrounding area makes me hesitate to give all five. I'd definitely camp here again though.
