Beautiful place. I love spending time here and just relaxing, hiking, kayaking, four wheelers, fishing and hunting.
Poor check in and hard to find your way around. Army Corp has multiple areas all around the lake. Maps would have been helpful. Nice area and well-maintained sites and grounds.
I took my dogs to Grenada with me to get some parts.we swung by for a little walk .was very nice area for that .talked to a few folks that was catching a few fish .was a nice clean area .
I stayed here 3 weeks in March 2019, I left my water hose hooked up to the water and when I came back the next week the camp host had it put up for me. It is a safe, clean, beautiful area, and hot showers are always welcome.
Great looking lake, but lots of disrespectful people make it bad for those of us trying to enjoy it. Reckless driving, smoking dope, hotdoging on the lake in boating and jet skees, making fishing water badly.
A bit off the beaten track of I55. A well maintained USACE campground. We travel I55 S in fall N in spring We try different USACE campgrounds in this stretch and have not been disappointed with any
