My son had to take my daughter-in-law to the ER the other day. He went in and asked for help getting her out of the car! They told him it would be about 15 mins!! He pleaded for help to no avail! He gave up and took her to Sanford in Bismark and they Scheduled her to have her gallbladder removed because it was full of stones!! You can die without immediate help because it can rupture!! I’ve also had visits where it did me no good to even burn the gas to go there for help!! I hope that they read this and work on their skills for an ER visit!!!

We just moved to Dickinson from Georgia and I’ve had to take my wife two times to the ER in the past 3 weeks. The first time she immediately admitted into the ER without a wait time. The nurse, Dr. Stinsen, and Dr. Arnold were very caring and understanding. My wife had 4 exams and tests done and we were out within 5-6 hours. The second visit, a week later, we had to wait only 10 minutes to be admitted. She was seen by Dr. Wolfe and stayed overnight. Both of these visits alone would have been 10+ hours back in GA. The nurse as well as all three doctors intentionality with my wife were very encouraging. However, I’ve had two past experiences that were terrible.  With this hospital, your care from the nurses to the doctors is a gamble. It’s one extreme or the other, either you’ll have a good doctor and nurse that are caring and intentional, or providers that are dismissive of you.  The ER doctor at our last visit tried to send my wife away when she had a kidney infection and E. Coli. My Initial rating for this hospital was a 5 stars, but as I have already stated the last two visits here were dissatisfying.

I got called to come to the emergency room for my mother who had unbearable chest pains after a stress test. They waited 15-20 min after before they thought to give her aspirin or nitro. Then the nurse administering the nitro had no idea how much to give, told us she had no idea, and was worried she might make my mother overdose on it because she didnt know. Then they made her walk to the bathroom instead of in a wheel chair. I've known and experience the exceptionally poor quality of care here in Dickinson for many years but this takes the cake. How many people must die of their inept ability before they realize what theyre doing? Is there no oversight for this?

This is unacceptable! I've been here for four hours and I've waited one of these hours just to receive my discharge papers, that I have yet to receive! I'm outraged! This is the worst hospital I have ever been to. It should be shut down and the doctor didn't even bother to really listen to my concerns. I'd rather drive to another state before I ever come back to this hospital! I recommend this hospital to no one!

This was hands down the best hospital I've ever been to. I had to go to the er because I had twisted my back and they got me right in and the whole visit lasted maybe 45 minutes. They were super nice and Dr. Cassidy was kind and caring. This is the way all hospitals should be.
