Story

The Chick-fil-A story started in 1946, when S. Truett Cathy opened his first restaurant, Dwarf Grill, in Hapeville, Georgia. Credited with inventing the original boneless breast of chicken sandwich, Mr. Cathy founded Chick-fil-A, Inc. in the 1960’s and pioneered the establishment of restaurants in shopping malls with the opening of the first Chick-fil-A restaurant in 1967 at the Greenbrier mall in suburban Atlanta. Since then, Chick-fil-A has steadily grown to become the largest quick-service chicken restaurant chain in the United States with more than 2000 locations.

I always enjoy the staff of chickfila. They do a fantastic job of not rushing you but getting your order taken quickly. They're expedient with their orders as well as clean and professional.  I would recommend eating here to anyone who has never been,  although I highly doubt anyone in my area has never been to this restaurant!

Must be the time of day you come in this place but my wife and I came in at 9:25 pm on Thursday night 11/9/17  First off I noticed an attitude from the girl at the register then we had to look for a clean table and we settled for the cleanest one we could find. Then I go to mens restroom and an employee was just hanging out in front of the urinal on his phone so I chose to use the toilet which didn't flush and the paper towel dispenser didn't work either. I tell the employee about the toilet and paper towel dispenser and his response was AAAIIGHHHT, And continued on his phone. Man the old owners wouldn't have put up with this at all..... So sad, This place used to be great no matter what time you came in

Everytime my family and I are in Shelby, NC, we absolutely love going to this Chick-fil-A.

Even when they are slammed busy (which happens often...Yes, they are busy because they are that good!) our food orders are almost always expedited in a timely manner. We are always greeted with a friendly and kind staff who go above and beyond doing their minimal job duties to help.

One of the good benefits of going to this Chick-fil-A is that they have a nice and clean play area for my kids to play in. It is not uncommon for my wife and I to enjoy our delicious cooked to order meal while watching our two toddlers "go at it" in the play area.

Overall, I am very satisfied with the Hickory Chick-fil-A and would highly recommend it to anyone desiring a good taste of the fast food in the Hickory area.

Fast, friendly service with great food. Awesome atmosphere to enjoy a nice meal either alone or with family.

I love the food here. Any location I been to are clean and the staff friendly. I love the lemonade. It's my favorite and I will drive out of my way to get it!:)
