Ah, my local Chicken Kitchen. We have a strange relationship. They have always delivered yummy food to my door with a smile or have served me well when at the location. After ordering there once, with a brand new credit card, that card got stolen and someone ordered about $1,000 of car parts with it. I only pay cash now. When some fresh employees come through to change the culture for the better this place would receive a better star rating because it's not the food that's slacking.

I worked here for 3 years and I felt like I made a difference. I decided to quit because I saw the store manager stealing. I told the vp of operations, they didn’t fire him instead they wanted me to switch stores. I was so upset because why in the world would they want to switch me for something I didn’t do. In fact I stopped a theif. Miguel Cellamare was stealing from chicken Kitchen and they let their judgments be clouded by other situations that had nothing to do with the stealing. Overall the store was great while I was there. Maybe now they will fail.

So, what we usually get, we couldn't because this dork ass dude that wears glasses says we can't. My girl gets the boneless breast platter with teriyaki and mash potatoes and beans, and i wanted the cuban chop chop with the teriyaki veggies. We get this all the time but apparently he wanted to lose 4 orders. My girls brother and mom wanted food, too. We were willing to pay extra, but, no. What a moron. You need better employees. Thing is we ordered this s 2 days ago with no problem.

Chicken kitchen wants to short you on chicken for a profit. The issue is on the portions, or ratios there off. I left feeling ripped off and I wound not want to go back. Now I’m a chef. So listen well. The food taste fine. Not the problem. I got a big bowl of rice with one baby scoop of beans. I ask for more... all good. Its a 2oz scoop. Compare that to a little cup that you put sauce. Half of that. That’s 4 oz. Then I asked for the skin of the chicken, so he puts LESS CHICKEN and loads up the skin. After he measured the portion of chicken which was 50% skin.. he leaves a small portion of the chicken on the cutting board. I want that perfectly cooked, juicy chicken. Now I’m paying $8.50 after tax for a “Small”

Food is good but they need to add more chicken to the plate protein is very important.
