We went to this restaurant only because it was on a discount card we bought for $20 to support our son’s T-ball league. When we looked it up it had decent reviews, and was close to our home. We decided to give it a chance. The reviews online talked about how it was adjacent to a small hotel, and despite not seeming to be such a nice place, had good food. As we drove up we were little concerned as the place seemed a little rundown and dated. As we entered it was immediately noticeable that it was in fact dated, and had not been spruced up or updated in quite a while. We weren’t wowed by the welcome but we asked if we could be seated in a booth with our 3 children. Our waiter wasn’t overly warm and we later commented on how he seemed to have a chip on his shoulder, but in fairness he did an okay job serving us despite lacking some professionalism. The food was okay, however, seemed overpriced for the quality of the food, the cleanliness and look of the establishment, and most especially given the subpar service we received. Upon being seated, my wife noted her bread plate was dirty and asked for a new one. They brought a second plate, just as dirty as the first. Also, it didn’t seem to child friendly as they did not have a children’s menu. They would charge a “sharing charge”, to split a regular plate for kids, which didn’t make sense to us. They did in fact waive the $4 dollar sharing charge for our children. What sealed the deal for us to confirm that we would not go back, was at the end of the evening we presented what seemed like the proprietor, or the manager, with our discount card for 10% off. She very abruptly said “no” when we presented her with the card. We explained that we had purchased the card through our son’s T-ball league, and without even taking it in her hands to take a closer look, she stated that she had never seen it before. After a moment of silence, she said “I’ll take the 10% off the bill”, without even having looked at the card closer to confirm that their business establishment’s name was in fact on the back of the card and it clearly stated 10% off the meal. Needless to say, my wife and I looked at each other in amazement and later commented on how difficult it is to understand how businesses fumble the ball like this. Here is a way that businesses market themselves to try to get new customers in the door, by giving them 10% off a meal (and let me be clear, it’s not like we were skimping and we ordered two glasses of wine and dessert). Then, when the businesses are successful in getting people in the door through these types of marketing arrangements, they wind up ensuring that these customers will not return based on the treatment they receive, and increase the likelihood that these customers will spread poor word-of-mouth to other potential customers. In the end, these businesses wind up hurting themselves even more. For ourselves and our family, we will continue visiting restaurants that not only provide decent food, but understand how important it is to make customers feel special, with proper treatment and a good environment and experience. Trattoria Romanza will not be one of those restaurants.

Very outdated, strange location. Lady at the front is a bit rude but nothing we cant get over. I have been coming here for 3 years and the food is always EXCELLENT. 10/10. Servers are very nice as well. I look forward to coming here again in the near future.

Great pasta, great service, quite hidden in another motel, but worth the visit! We had the special pasta advertised by the very Italian waiter and were really satisfied! Yummy! Wine was also good, espresso could do with a little more punch(but i guess for American coffee standards it was already quite strong) :-)

Nice place, quiet, sauce could use a little more garlic and zest but it's still good. But then again I like my sauce so strong that I reek the next day of garlic.
