I made my purchase, but forgot something. I took my bags and went to grab the item when they told me I had to leave my bags in the front. I refuse to shop anyplace that requires me to check my bag ... that's the last time I'll be going there or any other place they own. Telling us to leave our bags is a nice at of saying, "you're a thief, I want your money, but I don't trust you so I'm going to help you by making you leave your bags up front."

I went there for the very first time on Christmas day today..I caught the bus down the street so I had my backpack. When I come in the door one of the "black" cashiers tells me I have to put my bag at the door. I can understand that.. I start shopping and I see the "black" cashier walk by and looks as if he's lurking..I CAN'T understand that at all, being that my backpack was left at the door as they asked..the place is owned by Asians yet it was the treatment I received from a "black" person who made sure I will NEVER go back there again..I don't know what stereotype I fit..but..I was treated like my only reason for coming in that store was to steal something..simply because I had a backpack...wow...it's a good thing he didn't come near me or I would have went off on him..some "black" people are the worst of how they treat their own people when they get a little power..maybe because of their own experiences and mental issues..never judge a book by it's cover

Worst experience I've EVER had, very rude and you can't shop in peace without someone lurking and following you around the store. To top it off the meats are spoiled, frozen food being sold out of date and using the same utensils to cut different meat. Insanity just plane nasty. I will NEVER return there again no matter how cheap their meats are.

The clientele sucks. But ownership can't help that. Today I bought a skinny little NY strip without high hopes. However, I was proven wrong. Very tender, flavorful, and SOOO super cheap. I will always check out Chimbo before I buy meat anywhere else. Solid.
