I found the people are a little shy but very friendly and helpful! I was shocked the prices were very good and affordable but not always labeled but they were quick and friendly to read of the price or at least price check it for me! Priced better than the major grocery stores. (I know because i shop most of them just buying the items they have the best price on). The selection is huge with multiple brands and very authentic! They even have hard to find Asian cooking ware and supplies. They also have a to-go snack table of authentic treats and snacks that are made in house. Got a large warm pork bun for $1.50 that was very good and filling. Made a whole meal out of it. They also have a large produce and meat/fish market in back. 10/10 would recommend!

This place is a complete repository for an international smorgasbord of Asian products. Truly fantastic variety. Don't forget to visit the fishmonger in the back. They have very good seafood products there. I've never seen a milky-eyed fish once there, which is a good indication of freshness. 

Tan-A is a food aficionado's Disney World when it comes to Asian products. Must visit.

Really good stock of Asian foods at good prices.  I usually stick to the fresh produce, canned, and frozen items.  They do sell fish, including whole fish, and things like chicken feet and fresh pork items for the more adventurous.  I recommend you try it if you like Asian cooking.

My wife likes east Asian food therefore she likes to shop here.  Tan A sells rice and rice cookers, good vegetables, mushrooms and tasty snacks. I found it fun to shop in this store. Downside, the check out counter lady always talking on phone every time we shop.  Not very helpful.

Nice small specialty shop. Great tea selection and inexpensive kitchen gadgets. Fresh and frozen seafood, fresh veg at great prices, fun candy, sweets and fruit jellies, all kinds of packaged foods, seasonings, sauces and such. Selection is somewhat limited due to the size of the store but what they have is good.
