Was an interesting place. Good food. Was at tail end of lunch so no other costumerFood: 4/5
My new favorite lunch spot. Friendly, fast, great food and price. Hidden gem. Will be back!
Terrible service. The restaurant was completely empty .The waiter could not look away from his phone. Through our menus on the table never once looked up continue to scroll pictures on his phone walked away and never asked us if we'd like to anything to drink. We sat for over 20 minutes never and came back. We got up and left
Great, delicious tacos of all times. There are plenty of authentic Mexican options, and plenty of Tex Mex options. We showed up with a group of 10 with no warning, and the server working handled it great. All good was on the table in under 30 minutes.
The food was great tasting and reasonably priced, but the atmosphere was odd. We went in at dinner time and nobody was there. We thought the place was closed until a bartender finally came out. I'm not sure if the place picks up at night or what, but it just had a weird vibe.
The barbacoa tacos were great and had a little spice to them. The sauce that came with them was avocado based and very good. The ground beef taco was salty. The salsa served with the chips was not spicy at all more of a tomato puree. The restaurant is bright, spacious and clean. The waitress was very nice and helpful.Dine in: Yes
Ordered pick up, got it home and there was no consumé with the birria. It was just meat on tortillas, not even with onion or cilantro. We paid extra for cheese, there was no cheese. Ordered chips and guac but didn’t get the chips. The meat was tasty.
This place was horrible... took 45 min to get someone to find our what was going on with our order. The another 15 to get our food which was way to salty couldn't eat the nachos then everything else was too spicy to eat. .when we ask for a menu they said we have tacos. No revlciept our two orders of tacos was 40 bucks. Will never eat here again
I came here from my hotel stay nearby. I took a chance on what appears to be a bar at least after 9 but the birria looked delicious in the photos so I couldn't resist Zero regrets! I love their green sauce and the consumé was perfect. The back entrance looked a lil sus but it actually had some nice decor 10/10 would recommend
The food is 5 stars. Delicious all around. Sunday buffet for 10.99, delicious. Service is 2 stars. Server was nice but unprofessional. The restaurant was empty but it took several minutes to be noticed and seated. The atmosphere was 1 star. Dirty plates, dirty bathrooms, and sticky floors. The Funky Desi has great potential and delicious food. I recommend it for the 5 star food with the caveat to expect a 1 or 2 star visual experience.
