China Towne Furniture & Mattress, the One Big Store in Solvay, is proud to provide the Syracuse, Greater Syracuse and Upstate New York region with the biggest and best selection of mattresses & home furnishings. We know how important finding the perfect pieces for your home is, and we want to make your shopping experience enjoyable and exceed your expectations. We are a 45 year old local family owned and operated business and have derived our name, China Towne Furniture & Mattress, from our beautiful historic building which was once the Iroquois China Factory where china dishware was manufactured right here in Solvay where we still reside today. We have a professional team of Sales Design Consultants who will help you find and design your dream room of any kind- living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms, kids & teen’s rooms, recliners and reclining furniture, theatre seating, occasional tables, lighting and lamps, wall art and accessories, area rugs and much more! We have over 55,000 square feet of showroom including our beautiful Mattress First Sleep Center where our certified sleep specialists will help you choose the right mattress for your lifestyle and allow you to sleep better tonight! We are open 7 days a week and offer same day white glove delivery as well as complimentary in-home design services.

We got our living room set (two leather sofas, an ottoman and TV stand) at China Towne. The gentleman (Roger maybe?) was great. Showed us the difference between real leather and the poly fiber that we had been looking at In Watertown. He helped us find a TV console that fit our style and utility when I asked him his opinion between a few different pieces. He opened our eyes to the quality of furniture that the China Towne sets as it's standard. The furniture was delivered on a blizzard of a day and the delivery men were kind with smiles on their faces. Naturally, we looked to them to furnish my husbands new office and were sorely disappointed with the customer service. We spent a whole day getting to and in the store only to be told that office furniture was sold online and were handed a magazine and left for the rest of the time we were in the gallery. Later, I found different desks online than in the magazine and when I called to find out prices- their female representative never called me back. We really wanted a good quality office suite, however their inability to make pricing and purchasing available through practical needs did not suit our family. I hope they will find a way to make it easier for other businesses and families to purchase their goods in the future.

I have purchased furniture at China Towne several times in the past and have always had a good experience. This time I worked with a young woman, Anita Tamez. This purchase of two rooms of furniture took three visits to complete, initial look, picking it our, and bringing Don back to look and approve. Anita was so patient, knowledgeable, and very professional. I would never work with anyone else. As always my experience with China Towne was perfect, and the atmosphere there is so comfortable. While we were waiting for Anita to tally things up we sat in a comfortable setting eating warm chocolate chip cookies and having a cup of GOOD coffee. All, this and great prices. What more could you ask for. We are going back to purchase our oriental carpets. China Towne, a great place!

My experience is always good. It is lower pressure. Dave Morris was great to work with. Gives all the information you need to make your decisions easier. There are so many choices. The delivery team was very professional. Check them out.

What a fantastic experience and phenomenal turnout. Ashley worked with me to find and put together an entire house worth of furniture. I spent a couple days in store with her and online to find exactly what I wanted. Ashley never stopped searching for the perfect piece for me. She also made sure to price match and use promotional pricing wherever possible. She made the process seamless and was always available to phone or email. The guys who delivered the furniture were just as wonderful. The two of them spent nearly 4 hours in my house bringing it all in, putting it together and making sure it was exactly where I wanted it. Everyone I worked with went above and beyond and made me feel valued. I can't say the same for other furniture stores I looked at before choosing to go with China Towne. And the compliments on the furniture keep coming. THANK YOU!!

Great shopping experience but delivery times are not even close to what your told or expecting. Purchased a dinette set on June 27th. Ashley our sales lady was wonderful. Very personable and up beat. Highly recommend her. We were hoping to have our delivery for the 29th but as we were too late for that day Ashley said she would check with delivery and see if they could fit it on Thursdays trucks. If not she would have it to us Friday morning. Delivery called Thursday afternoon to say delivery is on Friday between 3 and 5. Company arriving around 1 and I have no table for us all to fit at to eat. Very disappointed and unhappy about the whole situation.
