Did a late afternoon hike. Lot nearly empty on a Saturday afternoon in January. $5 to park. The peak loop is closed so it's more of an up and back unless you want to turn your 9mile hike into 12miles. The lot has locked gates and closes at 17:00 and we got back to the car at 17:45 and restrooms were still unlocked and clean and the gates, thank you, were open so our car was not held hostage. Only danger we saw was the possibility of a fast downhill mountain biker crashing into you but everyone was polite and stayed to the left

Awesome state park! Beautiful views and nice trails. A great dog-friendly park.

Carbon Canyon has been well taken care of and brought back to life, with the rains this week, everything should be nice and green for Spring Break 😎. Enjoy the love of Orange County!!

Great play for a hike. Just a heads up dogs are not allowed although you do see a few every now and then

It is located in South Carolina, for the location it is nice, clean and relaxing park. Has kids area and clean restrooms. The BB&Q place and table make the park a perfect place for families.
