This Rio Grande Chipotle is U Do It approved! The staff was super friendly and we were in and out. Mrs U Do It and I both ordered bowls with tortillas. They give you enough food for two meals!
It was the first time that I have gone to a Chipotle restaurant. The food was really delicious. I definitely will go again. The service was only lacking because when I was trying to come into the restaurant I had to bang on the door to ask if they were open. It took a while for them to come over to the door. The door was very hard to open. You have to really tug on it. For this reason the service and atmosphere was marked down one star. It would be advised to fix that door and for those that are working to be aware that people might be at the door trying to come in. Vegetarian options: They have rice, beans and vegetables
OMG. Got order home and got chips but no salsa in bag and large order of chips but missing large guacamole. Entire order for 4 people was stone cold. There was no more than 15 minutes between placing order online and picking it up. Wrong salsa on taco order. Too hot for him to eat. Corn salsa missing from another order but found on another order that didn't order it. No rice in burrito or lettuce in the burrito and burrito shell was cold and gluey. Initially told the drinks that were ordered they didn't have and when I asked for refund of those items she said she didn't know how to do that and when I refused to substitute fountain drinks she mysteriously was able to fulfill my drink order. Tried to use chat function and was told sorry and to expect a coupon for BOGO item but email failed to include coupon. The entire experience was awful. We are down at Cape May for weekend vacation and will definitely try to forget this experience with your establishment. I'm surprised you are still in business.
Staff were friendly and patient , We went around close to 10:00 PM though they were not much of items left, we were served with the left items. Almost everything was empty. Staff were working even after 10:00 PM and taking orders from people.
If you can’t tell from the reviews and rating, this is one of the worst chipotle locations in the country, it should be boycotted/shut down, or put under new management and checked on routinely They do not follow chipotle standards for prep, portions, service, anything. The point of chains/franchises are to replicate and guarantee a certain level of quality and consistency for customers to expect at any location, this store fails miserably on that regard.
Steak bowl was missing the steak, and my drink was also missing. The Queso tasted and even looked off, with an odd consistency more akin to that of wallpaper paste than cheese sauce. Staff was inattentive and unapologetic.Food: 1/5
The staff is working hard and doing a great job. They had my order ready early take out and it's always delicious and well made.
Had someone pick me up a rice bowl with brown rice, black beans , Barbacoa, corn, shredded cheese and Pico de gallo. The portion was about half of what other Chipotles serve. Barely any barbacoa or beans, it was mostly pico de gallo. I had heard from other locals that this Chipotle is not up to standard, now I agree.
I get that there was an outage of food supplies. But I ask for a quesadilla which wasn’t my first or second choice. They then say I have to order it online if I want that. That is embarrassing especially since I’m there in the establishment. Have nothing else and say I have to go on my phone to order food. Stupid
Ordered online and mom went to pick up the full. Had ordered 2 organic drinks and the girl at the window said they they were out and offered a fountain drink. Mom said she didn’t want a fountain drink and wanted a refund for the drinks and the girl didn’t know how to do it. My mom insisted on refund and the girl left the window and came back and they magically had the drinks we ordered. Get back 5-10 minute drive and everything was ice cold. They put the wrong salsa on my burrito bowl. Mom ordered a burrito and got corn instead of tomato, no lettuce, no rice. Husband ordered chips and salsa. Only got chips. Mom ordered large chips and guacamole. Only got reg sized chips. Tried to call the store and only get answering service. Went online and and after getting passed from ‘agent’ to ‘agent’ she was told they were sorry for her experience and they would email her an offer to make up for her experience. The email offered her bogofree meal and 3 free chips and guacamole, but they didn’t put the code in so you can redeem it. Although not like we’d go back there.
