So disappointed. I hadn't been in a few years, and it had changed so much. Not for the better. The place used to be decorated so cute making it a fun outing as well as meal. Now the have plain white walls with no decorations. The waitress took our drink orders but did not return with them for 8 minutes. We had ordered the raspberry tea and neither of us tasted raspberry. We asked her to correct out and still didn't taste raspberry. She also served it warm so I had to asked for about their glass of ice. I heard other customers having the same problem. The food was not at all what I had come to love and expect from this restaurant. I had recommended the pimento cheese to my friend because it used to taste wonderful. This tasted extremely dry and was full of cayenne pepper. My chicken salad was also very dry and served without any crackers. It also needed seasoning. We also tried the tomatoes soup which was cloyingly sweet. The server was over whelmed with her tables. Neither her or the other person that came to our table tried to make things right. with the pimento cheese sandwich. My friend was not able to eat it. And left all but a couple es on the plate. Both staff acted bored and wandered off. As a hostess for this meal I was embarrassed. Tho finish things of they ran the card twice. Instead of reversing the charges, the wrote a check which my friend who doesn't have a car had to go and pick up. Personally I wish they would change the name as this is not the Chocolate Biscuit we knew and loved.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE! Love the decor, and the staff was very nice even to the women that complained about everything from the ice to the chairs. Definitely will be back

The chocolate biscuit tea room says they are closed and they invite people in for parties and don't even let you eat and they don't even close till 2pm and we go there a 1:14 and said they where closing.

We went with a large group and the service staff was nice but a lot of ordered were messed up, the chairs were fold out chairs too.
