Brand new bar tender and brand new cook....this place needs help. The bar tender was great, considering it was obvious she wasn't trained well. The cook did aweful. I paid 9 bucks for THE worst tacos I've EVER had, let alone on TACO TUESDAY, which they advertised in their menu. For 4.50 a taco, I was Wayyyyy better off going to taco bell. We also got some poor form of poutine, with about 2 tbs of gravy, fries and fried cheese pieces. The reubin my husband got for 8 bucks had 3 thin pieces of meat and came with nothing else. They had 4 beers on tap, which ranged from great to okay. Considering our general experience of U.P. food (amazing flavor and generous amounts) this place was a 2 thumbs down. I was gonna give 2 stars on account of the bar tender's effort, but I just can't. Also, I overheard they were out of bud Weiser, not that I like it, but sounds like poor planning. I hope the place gets better in the future. Cool atmosphere and nice bathrooms.

Excellent service over-40 crowd which we enjoyed music when you walk in the door and the food was great we had the fish fry and a homemade onion rings bartender who is also the brewmaster was outstanding

Had the rock cut pale ale and thought it was bad. Ate the perch basket and thought it was ok. Server was a nice guy, but forgot some condiments that were requested. We went cause brewery was in the name, but we'll try somewhere else next time we pass through.

Tammy made our experience at this great brewery and restaurant extra special. The bourbon barrel Porter and milk stout were very good and nicely nuanced. We really enjoyed the Greek vegetarian pizza. Great local experience.

Great touch with real blueberries in the wheat..Awesome pasties and service. .friendly place...but no river thru it so keep rods packed.
