This restaurant was welcoming, classy, clean, inexpensive and delicious! We visited on a Friday night with a strict time frame and they were more than willing to accommodate us quickly. We waited 10-15 minutes for our food and it came out piping hot! I ordered the green curry and it was hands down the best curry I’ve ever had. Forever a favorite! My dining partner got the steamed duck and was thoroughly impressed with the taste, texture and flavor.
So I went off reviews this time to help me to choose a lunch spot. This is where I ended up. Definitely unique surroundings and decor. This place definitely has an extensive menu which is sometimes not a good thing. Prices are a bit high for the location and food type. We ordered some sushi and I guess Chinese food . The sushi seemed fresh but taste less. Possibly frozen for a bit to long. The other food wasn’t hot by the time it arrived. Service was very slow even though not many guests were seated. It ended up to be $93 for 2 people hmm.. yeah I won’t be back. Not sure where all the great reviews are from.
Outstanding food, great wait staff and the atmosphere is very nice. The price seems spot on for the amount of food we got. I had 2 spring rolls witch were larger than I expected, and the dipping sauce was excellent. My main Corse was the chicken massaman curry and actually it was enough for two people, however we also ordered sushi and a a salad. All the food was amazing with an excellent taste.
Nice attentive service. The food was good. California roll sushi was superb and the steamed and fried dumplings were cooked to perfection. Nice spot in Winchester, VA. It’s a gem. Great lunch date.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: NoTakeout: YesDelivery: NoCurbside pickup: No
Hidden gem with friendly staff and great food. We got the spicy tuna sushi, crab Rangoon, drunken noodles and Thai spicy fried rice. Would recommend! Spice levels are on point so you may want to ask for your preferred spice level!
So I have only visited twice and had sushi both times however I did observe food served to nearby tables which looked and smelled great. The menu seems to be based on Thai influence. The crazy roll and tempura sushi rolls were good and I was satisfied with the quality of ingredients used. Almost all tables were full when I arrived and when busy the service level does decrease a bit but not to bad just expect to be there a little longer. The building itself is well aged and likely historic but the inside is still pleasant and comfortable, it's done well. The staff were very nice and friendly. Now i must also add some menu options are a little on the pricy side compared to similar places in the area, for example $5 miso soup which is usually $2-3. Keep in mind this is a small local business so cost will be a bit more but if the food is fantastic then is that worth it to you? Looking forward to trying drunkin noodles on my next visit.
We enjoyed Ty spicy tuna rolls, California roll and California deep fried roll with mango and salmon for our appetizers. Our main course was Bulgogi, Pad see ew and Peanut chicken. Everything was excellent. The service was great and the price is very reasonable. I would highly recommend this place.
I've seen this place a few times, but never had a chance to stop in. Now I feel foolish for waiting so long! The food was delicious. I had the Chicken Pad Thai, and my daughter had lo mein with tofu, and we shared a curry veggie puff. It was all delicious, and the restaurant was very comfortable and cozy. We saw several door dash drivers come and go, so clearly they are popular with the locals already. They also had a nice bar that appeared very popular. I'll have to come back soon.
The food is OK but the environment is hipster-ish and snobby. When we ate there this evening no one greeted us when we came in, we were left standing there waiting to be seated even though there were numerous waitstaff mulling around. We ordered two entrées and two appetizers. They brought out one main course with one appetizer, left me waiting, then brought out my food and another appetizer. The waitress seemed to be rushing us. I don’t know if I will return.
The atmosphere was cute, but the food was beyond nasty. It was the worst food me and my partner have ever had. Both of us took literally two bites and done. I will never return and I wouldn't reccomend wasting your money for your big disappointment.
