Love this church. The pastor is great, always has a great message and all in an hour. My wife two kids and I have attended mega churches and this church feels like home. You will be welcome like family here… Ops wait... the way family sometimes treat each other, maybe I should say like friends. If you're reading this, you should check it out. :)

I don't like the idea of rating a church, since it's just a building where the people meet to love God. But I will tell you that I've been attending here for about 9 years now (since college), and it has been great. I began coming when a friend invited me, and continued because I saw how intentionally they practiced their faith and the ways in which they did that in the gathered community on Sundays. And when I got involved--through music and a women's Bible study--I truly began to feel that it was my church "home". That's essential to any church you visit; it's hard to find a church if you never commit to helping out, learning, and being accountable in any way. It has been a place where I have been patiently encouraged and guided as I learned to be a faithful Christ-follower who cares about the world. As far as style, you could call us "blended". We use liturgical elements in our service (greeting, passing of the peace, confession of the creeds, and lectionary readings) and follow a four-fold pattern of worship (Gathering, Hearing the Word, Thanksgiving, Leaving to Serve), but it's combined with more "modern" things as well (drama, media, etc.). Musically, we sing current songs along with hymns--whatever fits the message of the Scripture that day. It would be appropriate to say that we learn from contemporary sources but also have an appreciation and desire to connect with the ancient Church. Come by sometime--we can chat. Peace. Wendie
