Always is a great eating experience. Service is friendly, food is well prepared and dependable.

For a little family owned restaurant in Burlingame across from the Caltrain station, this place is AWESOME! My dad and I always make a point of coming here when I visit him. The ambiance is very "old school diner" and there is indoor and patio seating.  
The menu is "traditional american" but it's of such a good quality that the food tastes amazing! The portion sizes are also very good, so you're practically guaranteed a good meal. Also, if there is something that you want that's not exactly on the menu, the staff is always happy to help and customize your order for you.
Speaking of the staff, they are really friendly and love to laugh and joke with their regular customers so I recommend you get to know some of them. They are really kind and good fun!
They only downside is that sometimes it's a little crowded and there is a wait, but that's just because this place is awesome! I would definitely recommend coming here for a meal whenever you get the chance!

Staff is friendly and super efficient
If you like great food and excellent service, this is where you want to go.

Expensive and unsanitary breakfast @ $12 for three slices of French Toast with a hair in it. Service decidedly under par when there's no reaction by server to being told about the hair. The hair may be a one-off event for this restaurant based on others' comments, but I definitely won't be going back.

Good breakfast and comfortable dining area. Parking is a challenge. I have been eating at Christie's for over 12 years and the food and service has always been consistent.
