This is the worst salon I have ever been to in my life. Overpriced for a terrible quality of work. I went to christol for color. I have been growing my hair naturally for years it was long and very thick and it was not over processed (before this visit) at all. Christol bleached my hair and left the bleach in entirely too long. I immediately noticed the difference in the texture change. Right after my hair began falling out in excessive amounts. This was six months ago I have been getting braids to try and help get my hair back healthy and it's still in a very poor condition and falling out. I wouldn't recommend anyone to go here!!!! A $300 color for $5 work and they have no regard or care for your hair AT ALL!

I love Christol Salon! After going to Dominicans for years my hair was really damaged. They are great at styling, but the hair CARE is where the real value is. The location is exceptionally clean and the ambiance is equally satisfying. I'm happy with the service I received.

I went to get just a color that's  it, however my hairstylist Pearl left the color too long in my hair and it was too strong for my natural hair. So my hair fell out after growing it natural for almost a year, and she didn't even notice that it came out. I didn't realize my hair fell out until I ran my hands through my hair and felt patches of hair missing next to the hair that was still there. I was outraged on how a "professional " did not know hair well enough to see that the color she was putting in my hair was not the right color for my texture. My hair still has not grown back, even a little, this happened in early June. Be careful when you go get color from a stylist named Pearl.

I made a 12:30  Saturday appointment and arrived at 12:00pm. It was about 5 minutes before I was taken to the shampoo bowl, then I waited there for about 15 minutes before the assistant began to shampoo me. He did an excellent job scrubbing my scalp without applying too much or too little pressure. However, I noticed he was the only shampoo person and their shampoo system is a 3 part process so after each step, he would run and complete another person's step. Overall, the shampoo and conditioning took about 45 minutes. 

Once thoroughly washed, I waited for about 20 minutes for a stylist to blow dry my hair and then the real waiting began! I made my appointment to see Christol and so did everyone else in the salon. As a master stylist I completely expect you to be quite busy on a Saturday; however at some point you have to step out from being a stylist and become a business owner and communicate with your clients. I waited for over 3 hours and not one time did she look up or even acknowledge anyone else that had been waiting longer than me to get their hair done by her. The nice receptionist apologized to me twice and finally after sitting in the salon until almost 5pm, I paid for my shampoo and blowdry and left. 

As the owner, I was expecting her to apologize or reassure me when she saw me get up to leave but she just told the receptionist how much to charge me and continued on (which I would never charge a client if I saw them waiting patiently for that amount of time, it's not like I made a scene). The few people that she did get out the door looked exceptional, however, her attitude, the time and pricing is not worth the cut and style. I would not return.

First time I went, I had an appointment with one stylist. Came at my appointment time and she was overbooked so they had me waiting a bit. Then ask me if i wanna go to someone else. Been there twice now and haven't found anyone yet to do my hair in a modern hairstyle. It always come out looking old. My hair was soft though. I'm gonna try someone else because the location in largo is very convenient for me. If the third time is the same, then I'm going to another salon.
