We are a Family Restaurant that the Truckers have discovered!

Story

Serving Breakfast, Lunch and Supper all day. We'll impress you with our daily specials, homemade soups, house pies with seasonal favorites, fresh salad bar, generous breakfasts and fast, friendly service -- unless Mandy is your waitress! ;)
Tuesdays and Saturdays = Catfish! Wednesdays = Italian night! Friday nights = Prime Rib done right! We make our own Vegan Garden Burgers.
Each September our Dutch Oven Cookoff raises money for local youth programs.

Visited on a Tuesday night with family. Ordered 2 adult meals + 2 adult breakfast plates (breakfast served all day), and 2 kids' meals. Waters to drink. Bill was $83.00. What we liked: Salad bar was small, but fresh and good quality. The best part of the meal, for sure. Kids hamburger was small but good; breakfast plates were satisfying. What we didn't: Adult meals (catfish) disappointing considering the $23.00 price point. We didn't order desert. Pie runs $6-$-8 per slice. All in all, a cozy, friendly place. Feels like a local diner should -- but the price doesn't fit.

The staff is always friendly and the restaurant is always clean. It's not very big which gives it the nice family owned feel. Chuckwagon has always been a family favorite and most likely always will be. A definite stop for any hungry person driving through, or a resident.

Cozy place with an old timey feel. We enjoyed the food and it tasted high quality but the prices were quite a bit higher than we had expected.

3 burgers, 3 drinks and 2 deserts took our bill to just over $70. Burgers were local beef and the Huckleberry lemonade was very good. The sour cream rubarb pie was amazing. Service was decent, but not stellar. Over all, good but over priced.

Cathy is awesome and runs a tight ship! Good salad bar fast friendly staff. Very clean! The food is very good!
