Super cute place. Love the aesthetic. Highly recommend the pan con croquetta. The cast-iron skillet pancakes was also good really good. would skip the potato next time, bland. Service was a little sparse, though the food comes out quick.Food: 5/5
We had the best experience at Chug’s Diner!!! We come from Indiana where my husband is in a band called The Chugs, so we decided to stop by on our way from Key West to Orlando. The food was incredible!!! The atmosphere was gorgeous, and the folks working there were so very kind! They even gave us complimentary croquettas for wearing our Chugs shirts, which were so delicious! We wish we lived closer to eat here more often!
Waited an hour for an indoor table, but 50 min in they tried to seat us outside where there was no wait, while our table was getting ready to be seated, then 15 min after we sat on our table inside they called us from the restaurant saying that our table was ready Zero organization. We ordered our food, waited another 30 min but the food came cold, sent back a couple of items for them to warm it, still came back lukewarm, so I switched my order to a pancake and it came within 1 min but it was ALSO cold. So i sent it back after just 1 bite. The waiter didn t charge us for the items i sent back but charged for everything else and also for items like our drink orange juice that never came to our table, but at that point I was too tired to tell them how to be organized and attentive to their client, paid, and walked out hungry! Such a shame cause this place had a lot of potential, never going back and would not recommend.
Chug’s diner a great place for brunch or anytime you’re feeling for comfort food. I had the broccoli hash and it was delicious. The cast iron pancake was so so yummy and huge. Can easily be shared with 2-3 people. Try out Chug’s diner, you won’t regret it.Food: 5/5
People love the burger here, but honestly everything here is a BANGER. The cast iron pancake is the best pancake I’ve ever had, but so were the French toast and quiche. If you don’t want to commit to a full brunch situation they also have a cafe component and outdoor seating for you to just hang out and enjoy a beverage. Super laid back vibes and the food is well executed, though it is a bit slow to come out.
Real high quality food. Probably best pancakes hands down. They add fleur de sel on the butter and in the hot chocolate . The sandwich was really flavourful and the dip was a nice touch. The fries where very crunchy and full of good seasonings. Very impressed!
I came here for brunch and it was awesome! The service was insanely good! Every time my water got empty, someone came over immediately to fill it back up! Our waiter was super kind and even brought us a free duck croqueta! The food was also delicious, peep the photo of the broccoli hash!Food: 5/5
They simply make fantastic food. The sandwiches, the fries, the soup. Everything tastes great! Waiters are all bilingual, which I found great. Definitely a place you have to try! Parking: There is no parking at the place, but there are several parking options around, all of those are walking distance to Chug’s Kid-friendliness: Even though there is no kid’s menu, some of the food is appropriate in flavor, ingredients and portion size for kids.
We discovered Chugs for breakfast. They have excellent service, our server Juan was exceptional and carefully explained the gluten free options on the menu. The entire staff was friendly and helpful each time we visited. The food we ordered was delicious. There is both indoor and outdoor seating, and lunch and dinner are also available. I highly recommend Chugs! Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options are available.
I found out about Chug’s simply looking for a restaurant near Coconut Grove, as that’s where I needed to be. After realizing it is a Michelin Bib Gourmand choice and looking at the menu, I had to give it a try. For a noon on a Friday morning, it was busy but not too busy to be seated immediately. They only had seating outside, which was fine. It was cool enough in the shaded area with a breeze. There was pleasant chatter among the other tables. I ordered the duck croquettes and a side of maduros for a light lunch. The orange mustard was a fantastic pairing to the croquettes, which were crisp and rich and delicious. The maduros were nicely caramelized but still soft and slightly tart. I also ordered guava and cheese pastelitos but have not yet tried one, though they look flakey and very promising. If you have a chance to eat here, go for it! The rest of the menu and the cocktails looked great and it’s a relaxing atmosphere in what seems to be a walkable commercial area.
