Had a craving for lechón and they did not disappoint. Excellent lechón and moros, the yuca could have used a little more mojo but it was passable. Another fine dinner.

Saw some mixed reviews on here but it was near where my wife and I were staying so we decided to roll the dice. Sunday evening so it wasn’t busy. All I can say is the service was great. Even though we’re a couple of Anglos had no problem ordering. Never tried authentic Cuban food before so we had nothing to compare it to. I had Vaca Frita, my wife ordered the fried pork chunks. We were very pleased with both dishes. The food was served promptly and there was plenty of it. They unfortunately were out of Flan so didn’t get to try it. The bill was very reasonable considering we each had an adult beverage, meal, dessert and coffee. We would definitely go there again and can recommend it.
The have a large menu options but not all available. Portions are big. Atmosphere in de dinning area was nice but they have a bar area that looks nicer. Great location plenty of parking spacesFood: 4/5
THE FLAN!! Mi gentes…THE FLAN!! MUAH!!! In my lifetime, I would say I had eaten flan…about 30 times. This was THE BEST flan I have ever had…so far. I’m sure most would recall “that flan”, you know the one that has the lumpy, quiche custardy flavor, that comes with the drizzle sauce that leaves that weird, canned bitter aftertaste…? Not at Habana Vieja. The custard is whipped to perfection. Smoothest, richest, warmest, loving sensations that reminds you that your palate and sweet-centered senses deserve this edible masterpiece. The food is excellent…if I must say. Our server, Jorge… very attentive. He listened and made great recommendations for food. Plus, he was very understanding of my Spanish. But the flan… incredibile!
Serena was an excellent server!! the food was delicious, definitely wish there were more vegetarian entrees - the beans and rice sides were amazing.
Still let us eat when they closed. Water was served immediately. Plenty of food served. So it is worth your money. One may say, it’s too much. But they have take home boxes!
Great food and great service. I ordered the Beef Milanesa and was too excited to take the pic before I started eating. I sat right under the ac but they turned it up so it wouldn’t be so cold and it was still fine. A very latin community and they speak to you in both english A very latin community and they speak to you in both english and spanish unlike what other people say.
Good Cuban food and good service. Plenty of parking in the rear of the restaurant. Prices are a little high compared to other similar Cuban restaurants. Thet have a bar, and the atmosphere is really nice.
This eatery is one that has a special menu Monday thru Friday from 5pm to 7:30pm. The portions are generous and the food is fresh. Someone looking to enjoy great Cuban food at a reasonable price, this is the place! My favorite dish is Vaca Frita! Best in Miami!! Parking: Plenty of parking. Usually 3 to 4 spots are open!
