I happened to be watching a lot of SamYang noodle challenges on Youtube, so I decided to try it myself. I asked my daughter to call the first place we saw online, and it happened to be this Little Gem; Chung's Asian Mart. Very helpful and Pleasant staff. My new spot for Authentic Asian Cuisine.

Called to ask if they carry a particular item and the employee was not at all helpful, told me "we don't carry that item, I don't understand what you're asking for, bye"

They have a pretty good selection...lots of variety and a little bit of everything. They do not have much for produce due to short shelf life I think & the fact they are a small store with a limited client base. The staff is pleasant but not what I would call "friendly". They know a fair amount about what they carry & definitely where to find it in the store. The prices are very reasonable in my opinion & definitely lower than what you will pay at a major grocery store in the "Asian" aisle. The reason for the 3 star rating is that alot of their items are unmarked which makes me wary as a consumer. I like to know what I am going to pay before I get to the register & I like knowing that I am getting the same price as everyone else & not something inflated because I am not a "regular" or friend or something. Also, be careful that the person who is ringing you up is putting the correct price into the register. They do it very quickly so just be vigilant. I had 2 items for which I was charged an extra dollar from what was marked on the shelf. I only had about a dozen items & I don't like that margin of error. I was in a very big hurry & did not have time to argue or wait for the clerk to go check the price, so I just let it go. Overall, considering they are the only Asian market on my way home from work, I will definitely go there again. I will, however, not let the price mark up at the register slide next time.
