Went to this location to cash a check. There is a sign at the customer service desk that says they offer check cashing. When I attempted to cash said check, I was informed check cashing services at  for employees only. Why would they have a sign offering this service if you're unable to partake in it?

This is the only GIANT I give a negative rating to. I used to stop here way back when I had nearby office buildings I cleaned (for a private company!). Yet in December of 2009, I had a major problem with a rude store associate-whom did try to be a bit threatening towards me! THIS WAS BOT A MISUNDERSTANDING AND UNACCEPTABLE!!! I did contact the corporate district office about this and got some resolve-I already stated that I would never patronize this Giant ever again-my decision! There are other Giants I can patronize and I even told the rude/threatening associate so that December 2009 day-he tried to smooth over things by telling me-apologetically-that I was still welcome in his store and my money was valued there. I TOLD THIS CHARACTER THAT IT DID NOT MATTER WHICH GIANT I SHOPPED AT FROM THERE ON, AS THE CORPORATE OFFICE MAKES THE MONEY IN THE END-Am I right about this? FINAL NOTE, I think this associate was named Zack and they did not fire him for his stunt he initiated against me on 12/24/2009 and even promoted him to store manager eventually?!?!? THAT IS DESPICABLE and is why I tell everyone to boycott this Giant-bad giant, baaaaad giant........bad giant-do not shop here!!!!!!!!!

Price tags are through the roof! They moved the entire store just to have an alcoholic section which is again, EXPENSIVE, and no one buys it there since you HAVE to show ID every single time whether or not you are 21 or 80 years old. Even more so, if you need to put air in your car tires, you're better off going elsewhere. You'll have to pay $2.00 per minutes of using it and it used to be free to do this.  Better yet, I worked there for 2 years and they wouldn't hire me back due to the fact that my application was non-competitive and I had another job offer that had better working conditions and a higher pay rate. Let alone Giant FORCED me to choose which place I wanted to work at and of course I chose the other place. They also get rid of older people who've worked there like me and hire much younger people so that they can pay them nearly minimum wage and keep all the money to themselves. I would've rated this place 4 or 5 stars since it was REALLY good at first, but everything economically has grown very badly over the course of the years. In conclusion, that's why I rated it a 1 star place and also why I will ONLY go there when it is my last choice to do  so.
