Story

Ciao Bella Cakes is owned and operated by Jennifer Golden. Jennifer has been a pastry chef for over twenty years. She has worked in some of the top restaurants and bakeries in the Philadelphia area including Le Bec Fin, The William Penn Inn, and Aux Petits Delices. As a Culinary Institute of America Baking and Pastry Graduate, Jennifer works closely with her clients to develop creations that delight both the eye and the palate and reflect the magic of the event.

Our wedding cake and cupcakes were phenomenal!   Everyone raved about them and said it was the BEST wedding cake they had ever had.  Jennifer was so helpful with our process and we loved sampling them all!   You won't be disappointed!    Nicole Raven ❤️❤️

To start, they are rude and unprofessional. Apparently the previous owner sold this business so it would seem a lot of the good reviews are from the previous owner. They ruined my cake. Aside from looking like a junior high home economics project gone wrong the cake didn't even taste that good. The design was not what I asked for and when my cake got to the venue, some of the flowers were even broken. They over charged me and under delivered. To put things in perspective for you readers, I went with a very simple and elegant design something that any professional cake maker should be able to do. To say that I would not recommend this vendor is an understatement. For something so special please do not trust your special day to them. They are hard to deal with and what you get looks just terrible.

Had a consult and she was distant and didn't seem to care. Cake was good service was not.

Ciao Bella made my best friends wedding cake. After multiple issues with other well known bakeries Ciao Bella saved the day! Not only did they make a beautifully delicious cake, but they also did so with short notice. The price was great and the service was excellent. The cake it's self was gorgeous and the best wedding cake I've ever had. The top tier was still delicious after being frozen for their one year anniversary. I will be using Ciao Bella for all my dessert needs, including the same friends baby shower cake this spring!
