I am so happy we went with Lochel's for our wedding cake. They were the second baker we met with and we had a great experience. I didn't have a good idea of what I wanted, and they gave us helpful information and showed us lots of samples. They also didn't pressure us and gave us time alone to discuss the different designs and to discuss which of the cakes that we had tasted we liked best. In the end, our cake look exactly how I wanted, and tasted amazing! I continue to get compliments about how good it was. I also think it's awesome that they give you a coupon to get a fresh anniversary cake. I already can't wait to eat it!

I've been ordering my sons birthday cake from this bakery for five years and refer tons of people to this bakery for specialty cakes and go to the bakery for treats on a regular basis was so disappointed with my sons specialty cake this year. Not only did they not call me to tell me that they couldn't do the cake I asked for they gave me an attitude when I went to pick it up because I was disappointed that they didn't even give me a curdosity call. I understand they are a busy bakery but what happened to customer service and what it's all about making a little boy happy for his birthday.  When I asked to speak to a manager the girl at the counter said they were all busy. I demanded to speak to a manager and said I wasn't leaving until I spoke to someone. I ended up having to put the decorations on the cake myself. Shame on this bakery will not refer anyone here again.

We go to Lochel's every time we come to Philadelphia to see family. Our trip would not be complete without taking some goodies back with us! Great sticky buns, cinnamon coffee cake, cookies and the most delicious, moist birthday cake I've ever had from a bakery! Everyone should go there for a sweet treat!

Amazing wedding cake! Lochel's was awesome to work with and delivered exactly what we were looking for! We will certainly be using Lochel's as our go to bakery and will recommend to anyone for wedding cakes!

I just want to say thank you to the Lochel family! They go above and beyond with every cake that I order (and I order quite a few a year!) It doesn't matter if I need a certain design or tell them they have creative freedom, the cakes are GORGEOUS!!!!! Not only are they pretty, the cake flavor choices (if you choose a pound cake) is amazing. I've never seen so many options. I won't even get into the cupcake options. Seriously, try them if you haven't. You will NOT be disappointed!
