We are impressed with the representatives in this Social Security office on Reading Road. They are most helpful and kind. The wait depends on when you get there, but they have an excellent system where you get a number when you check in that puts you in queue for your particular issue or business. The reps have a lot of patience and good humor in their service to a very diverse group of customers.

If i could give a zero i would because they dont deserve the one star you have to give. Terrible customer service! And DO NOT pay attention to the things needed that they post on their website because its wrong and they will keep giving you more and more paperwork that they need to DO THEIR JOB! I have now wasted 3 trips up there just to be told i need something completely different every single time! All i needed was a new social security card with my new, married name on. All 3 times I've been up there they need a new piece of paperwork to complete this big huge puzzle. Get with the program people, learn your job, and put the right information on the website!

Dealing with Social Security is a hot mess! Here are my learnings: 1 Don't call the Social Security 800 number thinking your issue will be resolved. If you call more than once, you will never talk with the original person again and you'll be told alternate info. 2 If you call to make an appointment for an in-person discussion, I hope you don't think that appointment will be soon. It will be several months out- sit tight. 3 Take your butt to their office in person. Yes, you'll sit there all day waiting to meet with a real agent (pack a lunch). 4 On Wednesdays, the Cincinnati office works a "short day"- 9am- 12pm (but if you're there by 12 they MUST see you). 5 Government workers are pretty miserable & they will be rude to you- don't let them ruin your day.

This place is terrible to deal with horrible customer service!!! If you need to do business regarding your social security benefits or what have you go to the downtown location it may be better because evendale is lousy. The rep I got was miserable and rude don't think she likes her job at all she kept trying to go back and forth with me over nonsense and wanted to have the last word but I am some times petty and wouldn't let her 😂😂😂 hopefully she'll get another job something she enjoys and not dealing with the public.
