Best campground around! The owners are lovely and amazing people. They made us feel like we were right at home. We love the pool, pond for fishing, and the pottery painting! Very peaceful and family oriented. The price is perfect. :-)

One of the worst campgrounds I've stayed at. Very run down and expensive. $45 for a RV site - not good for regular tenting. We were also charged full price for uNoccupied sites (so be aware of that). Plus extra fees for bounce house, pool, etc. $6.50 for a bundle of firewood and you can't bring your own in. Lots of strict rules (example: they wouldn't let our friends that weren't swimming to just sit in the pool area). Pool water smells strongly like surfer stink. Felt unwelcoming. A prominently displayed confederate flag on one of the sites was a nice touch. We wouldn't return. The only good thing was the company we were with and one of the people running the place, Colleen, was friendly.

They told us faulty information about the price of a site, first that it was $25 per site and that there would be grills, then that it was 25 per person. Furthermore, they charged 1.50 per pool use and nickel and dimed us on the other amenities. Two of the sites for which we were charged we didn't use, but were charged because we had a reservation - even though one of those sites was completely submerged in water and there were many other open sites. Poorly managed and faulty pricing information.

Stayed with wife and almost 4 year old. Enjoyed the pool, playground, and the pond (didn't swim in pond). They also offer a bounce house, pedal bikes, those big inflatable balls you roll around inside. The facilities are nice, flushing toilets and quite clean. Lots of seasonal folks. The showers smell like sulphur, but they were clean. All the activities for kids have separate prices, but I had no problem with that. Ed (owner) is awesome. Minutes from Palmyra.
