Tried to cash a check here today. I was told that I need to give them my social security number to cash a check. It looks like that policy might violation federal banking laws. I asked numerous times to see the policy and Chuck told me that they don't have any written policies. I was told by Chuck that they don't need to follow banking laws because they are a credit union. Chuck also stated that the purpose of asking for the social security number "is to see if you owe Citadel money".  I gave them two forms of identification. They refused cashing a valid check. This place is crazy. Im not giving some guy sitting in front of a computer my social security number. Beware of this place!

Worst customer service,  and information when opening  account

I cancelled my account with Citadel.

I kept receiving emails meant for someone else.
This lead me to feel that maybe my personal
data may be going to others.

Nice bank , I got 2 cars loan with very very  low interest . 
But they not good with mortgage.
