Great sandwiches here and drink specials. No fried food on the premises which I think is a nice change. Sandwiches come with chips, pasta salad or coleslaw. This place will often have live music and they have a pool table. The ambiance is a low light, clean and comfortable bar. The staff is very friendly and they enjoy working there.

Have only been there once but will definitely go back. I ordered an appetizer with drinks, I choose to sit outside and enjoy our beautiful weather. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to stay longer to hear the band that was setting up. Next time.

Called trying to book my bands,"R.U.I."& Guitar Heroes", & was surprised on how friendly & honest the staff is. Although they are booked thru 2018, I would be available for fill in dates, & I highly recommend & support this place, even if I don't get a gig because they are honest. Unlike others who aren't, City Tavern is great, keep up the great work, you have our business!!!

Nice place to have a beer, listen music and play a pool. Regarding food, super short menu but we really good sanchwiches (innovating out of usual ones) and a couple of salads. Additionally has a few sharebles. Salads are well prepared and sandwiches among them the cubano are delicious. Service is above standard, very kind and always available despite the size of the place!

Not so pleased with the people they allow in there. However there live bands are usually good and the bartenders are pretty good when you can get ones attention. Pretty cool place for the most part...just ridiculously crowded on Friday and Saturday nights.
