Story

We have a extensive menu, including home-cooked, slow-smoked Southern BBQ. We also feature SW Florida's first & innovative 'self-tap' beer wall, featuring local microbrews. Not to forget about our 15' (~180"!) LED TV for the big game, and our 50' panoramic projection wall with mountain scenes. All of this merged into a historic Downtown Building, with a unique look and feel that will make you feel right at home. You have to see it to believe it ... Welcome to The Lodge!

Cool place. My coworkers and I had lunch there and service was quick and waitress was awesome. Sorry I forgot her name, she had short brown hair and was very beautiful! Definitely recommend this place if you love good ole American food. This place has a character you wouldn't expect downtown Fort Myers.

Truly great food at a great value. The experience is unique and pleasant. As unique as the atmosphere, so is the food. The burnt ends appetizer and the pork bellies are absolutely tremendous. In obscure BBQ flavor to the menu but yet it seems as early American as a better description. They also have a beer wall that is self-serving with rotating beer types for the craft beer connoisseur. Large TVs with sports adorn the walls however not distracting. I would strongly suggest this restaurant.

I came here one day to meet some friends and decided to sit at the bar. I got greeted pretty quickly, and the bartender was awesome. I got an appetizer and some beer. Had a pleasant experience until a large group came in, and it took about 20 minutes before my group got another visit. Can't really blame the staff on a group of 15 people coming in, but it still effected my experience. Food was good, and when I got it, the service was good too.

My family and I love to visit this place when you're in the mood for some beer and delicious food. Outdoor seating is always fun with oversize picnic table. They have a nice varied menu for different kinds of appetites. They are even vegetarian choices although the menu would appeal more to a meat eater. Define place to sit and have a drink or even just appetizers. We always have great service to. There's one particular server who I unfortunately do not have the name of, but he's been there forever and is maybe about 50 years old and bald. He is the kind of server who you would expect to encounter in a very expensive restaurant. He's very attentive and you can tell enjoys serving. One unique highlight is the moonshine based cocktails. Yum!!

Best Moonshine Bloody Mary in town and best BBQ you'll ever have! Highly recommend this place for all their signature pulled chicken, pork. brisket dishes, signature moonshine specialty drinks and sports TV's gallore to watch your favorite team play
