My first Movie theater experience this year was at CityPlex 12 Newark. I went for the 11am movie viewing.  The cost was only $6.50 for the early show.They do accept credit cards, just be sure to have your ID. The crowd at this time of the morning was definitely a mature audience.

There is plenty of parking and the bus stop is right in front of the venue. The lobby area is spacious with a few tables & chairs. They have a game room & a photo machine. The concession stand serves the typical movie theater stuff and the bathroom was clean. 

I really enjoyed my visit there and plan on returning soon!

This movie theater is high quality as well as beauty and clean.  The food prices are a little on the high side, but what theater isn't. They show first rate films and the seating is plentiful and every time I have been their it is never crowded even in a Friday and Saturday night.  There are arcade games available to play without purchasing a ticket.  The quality of the games are above average and adorable. Speaking of adorable, the price I paid for one adult admission was $12.00, which is about one and a half dollars less that the AMC theaters. If you haven't been here I encourage you to do so, you won't be disappointed.

This is a real neighborhood movie theater.  It's clean and has a friendly staff. The matinee on Tuesdays can get you two movies for almost the price of one. The City Plex offers 12 movies and a birthday party room. In the summer months they offer free children movies. Cool place to spend the afternoon.

my goto place not over crowded, friendly staff BUT some seem to forget to give the drinks when buying a combo.. The cooked food takes a long time but its good.. you should get there 30-40 min earlier if ordering cooked food or you wont get a good seat

I am so glad they had a theater in newark.  They trying to keep it up clean and neat for other people to convert enjoyed herself and so far they're doing a great job thank you   Shack.. Some people appreciate this and I'm saying thank you for doing a great job your friend kb
