It's not the Hampton... But the lady that runs the Clair inn, is a sweet, caring soul. The rooms are out dated, but there quite, and comfortable. I personally enjoy the rustic wood celling. I would update the lighting and the TV. I enjoyed my stay and would come back.

After reading some of these reviews im wondering if we all stated at the same motel or are people just hating.

Me an my boyfriend are new in our relationship an venture out every weekend to get away an passed this motel on the way to Port Huron.

We spent a few hours in Port Huron an started making our way back an wanted a place to stay for the night an remembered this place.

All i can say is BEAUTIFUL, ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL

The room was spacious, elegant an had amenities that exceeded the price we paid. 

But the view!!! Canada is right across from the motel an there is a refinery at night its lit up like a Christmas tree AMAZING 

If you love boats all day an night there is a parade of massive tankers going down the river magnificent!!!

You owe it to yourself to spend a night you will not be disappointed.

Motel been there over 45 years.  Not many outside changes except no useable pool outdoor.  Rates reasonable.  Small cafe within walking distance.  Will have to drive to restaurants or delivery services
