My husband and I moved from the Minneapolis suburbs to Clarendon Hills. We were lucky enough to have a friend recommend Jan to us. This was our 5th move in 12 years, so we have had many real estate agents during that time. While they were all good, Jan was a definite cut above the rest, and I would categorize him as great. 

Jan is extremely organized, personable, knowledgeable and on top of things. He is an expert on the Western suburbs, which was a huge need for us, as we were moving here from another city. Even though we flew to Chicago a couple of times, not living in the area always adds another level of difficulty to house hunting. Jan went out of his way to act as our eyes and ears on the ground and help us find the perfect home for our family. We couldn't have done it without Jan, and we have already recommended him to a colleague moving into the area.
