The rooms are a bit outdated but reasonably comfortable, pet friendly and fairly inexpensive so it works well if budget is an issue. What really makes this place stand out is the complimentary breakfast which is one of the best hotel breakfasts out there. It is a small buffet with several hot items including eggs, sausage, gravy, bacon along with breads, pastries, pancakes, cereals, yogurt, etc. There are a few juice choices and it actually tasted like juice and not glorified koolaid. If you like a good breakfast included in the cost of your room, this is a place to consider.

My mother and I along with our 5 dogs stayed during Hurricane Irma .... the staff was nothing but kind during our 5day stay! The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable especially with the comforters and extra pillows. The breakfast and dinner buffets were excellent. Also, having Terri take care of us in the bar as we met other people from different parts of Florida was awsome.

Clarion hotels are usually pretty nice. This one is not up to their high standards. It was probably OK in the 70s or 80s, or whenever it was built, but I don't think it's been updated or renovated since then. The upholstery and wallpaper were ripped, electric sockets hung by their wires, and that moldy motel smell is everywhere. The pool water is so green that it looks like a giant lime Jello shot. On the plus side, we checked for bed bugs and there weren't any.

We stayed here during Irma. Everyone was very nice and were clearly doing their best considering they didn't quite have the staff for the situation. However, there was a dangerous piece of metal that stuck 6 inches out of the foot of the bed but was also hidden by the bed skirt. I accidentally banged my knee into it while wrangling my cat and I'm still limping 24 hrs later.

This hotel was by far one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. Once in the room I was in room 174 for the door did not shut all the way because there was a noticeable crack you could see outside. The room was not clean properly there was hair in my towels in also stains on the comforter that was on the bed. I went in the bathroom and the first thing I noticed was a roach in the shower. There's also a dead roach on the wall that has been there for a while and housekeeping must have missed it. There is a moldy looking substance around the room. And of course when I asked for a refund so I can try to find another hotel in a different town I was told it was nonrefundable. Because I didn't have the money to go out and book another hotel room and let that one go to waste with my money I was forced to stay. And due to a natural disaster happening in Florida there wasn't a lot of options in that area that's why I picked that hotel because it was the only one that was available. So after the first night came the second night I went out and got food did not eat all of my food so I placed the leftovers on top of the refrigerator area to warm up a little later. About 2 1/2 to 3 hours later I went to warm up my food I pick up the box and a little roaches scattered from under the box then I open my box and I see about three little roaches crawling over my food. I stayed the night because again there is a non-refundable policy I guess and this was horrible!!! I don't think I could be more disgusted with this hotel.
