The Clark County Fire Department is committed to protecting lives, property, and the environment of Clark County, Kentucky.
Established in 1953, the CCFD provides fire and rescue services to Clark County, Kentucky outside of the city of Winchester. We have seven full time firefighters on each of three shifts, divided between three fire stations. Stations 1 and 2 are in Winchester and Station 3 is located in Trapp. We have four engines, one tanker, a brush truck, and several support vehicles. In addition to fire and auto extrication we are trained for Swiftwater Rescue, Trench Rescue, Rope Rescue, Confined Space Rescue, Farm Machinery Rescue, Large Animal Rescue, Hazardous Materials Response, Ground Search and Rescue, and provide assistance to Winchester Fire/EMS on EMS calls in the county.
